When 'sorry' doesn't count

Nov 07, 2024

You've heard this since you were a kid...

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Your mom was right (usually is).

But now that you're a landlord, that ain't always easy.

Like when you want to blast a bad tenant on facebook.

You see other dumb landlords do it.

But that doesn't mean you should.

It's kinda like posting your ex's number on a bathroom wall.

Feels good for a minute...

Same goes for your little online rant about tenants.

It's now Exhibit A when you get sued.

Fun fact:

Courts don't care if your tenant 'started it.'

Don't rant about your tenants online.

Keep those spicy thoughts where they belong — in your head.

Or your diary.  Do people still write in those?  They should...
