Does this ever happen to you?

You know what's good for you, but don't do it.

We're all guilty of it. Even (especially) Tenants.

Uncle Sam is still handing out money like it's 2020, specifically for Tenants behind on rent.

It's "free" money for Tenants.  And should be a no-brainer.

But many Tenants aren't grabbing the cash, leaving Landlords unpaid.

 So when a Tenant isn't paying rent and refuses to apply for COVID funds, can you force them to try?

No, you can't.  Unless your lease says otherwise.  

Remind them that COVID only delayed payments. They still owe rent.

Take the money.
