It didn't sink in right away.

Until we spoke with this new Legal Plan Member.

They knew our lease is the best in the business.

But missed that we can't draft around everything...

You know, things like the implied warranty of habitability.

It means your rental must be safe and livable.

No matter what you lease says.

Things like running water, keeping pests out, and electric that won't burn the house down.

It's not always easy to know if it applies.

But if your roof leaks so much that Mary Poppins would need a team of umbrella-wielding nannies to keep the place dry...

You're *likely* breaking the implied warranty.

So don't throw the lease in your Tenant's face.

At least until you know this law ain't an issue.
