Do this or your house will burn down
Jun 07, 2022Uncle Sam is smarter than you.
And his laws make your life suck keep you safe.
Case in point:
You've gotta ditch removable batteries in smoke alarms.
Only 10-year sealed batteries will do.

Good chance you'll buy new alarms.
* not legal advice *
OK, we lied...
This law makes sense.
Sure, it's a pain to swap alarms (and batteries).
But be honest, you weren't checking these anyway.

The law doesn't kick in until January 1, 2023.
For you overachievers, here's the law.
