Deadline approaching for rental LLCs ⏰
Nov 14, 2024We warned you...
The feds are back at it again.
And this time they mean business.
Like IRS-audit-on-Christmas-Eve kind of business.
Remember when we told you about that BOI form?
You know, the one you tossed in the "deal with it later" pile?
Well, "later" is knocking on your door.
If your rental property is in an LLC or corporation, you need to file the Beneficial Ownership Information form.
Name, birthdate, address — the whole enchilada.
Please don't sit this one out, madam.
It's a hard deadline.
And if you miss, they won't send reminders — just fines.
File your BOI form before December 31, 2024.
The good news?
It takes less time than arguing about where to order lunch.
Don't be the landlord still explaining this one to your accountant next year.
Uncle Sam's watching... and he's got nothing but time.

We spend hours writing these weekly emails (for free) so you don't wake up to a government love letter. If you know a landlord who probably thinks "BOI" is a 90's boy band, do us both a favor and forward this email.
And if you're tired of DIY-ing the legal stuff like a broke college student with IKEA furniture, maybe it's time to join the cool kids' table.
